Begam Mahabuba Rahman (Rita)
Begam has over 5 years of experience working in childcare. She’s currently certified with Government of Alberta as a Child Development worker.
She has the capability to adapt to children’s needs as necessary. She’s completed many childcare workshops to better her understanding of children and their development.
Begam’s favourite hobbies include reading books and gardening. She is very active with the children inside and outside.
Huiping Luo (Lucy)
I am Lucy (Huiping Luo). I came from China. I work at Little Flower Day care since April 12, 2012.
I have studied Early Learning and Child Care two years program at Bow Valley College from September 2010 to April 2012. I have worked with infants and toddlers’ groups almost 9 years, and these experiences gave me the chances to connect the child development theories and practice.
In my free time, I like reading books, watching movies, or going for a travel. I love playing with children, and it’s my pleasure to do some help in children meeting their whole areas (social/emotional, cognitive, language, and physical) developmental milestones. I believe that love and education make difference in children’s life.
Savita Bhardwaj – Director
Savita has been in this field of education, early learning, and childcare for over 12 years in Alberta, with 8 years of elementary school principal experience from back home. She has been working in Little Flower Childcare from 4 years.
Savita carries a strong educational background with a bachelor’s degree in Education from back home and child development supervisor certificate in the province of Alberta. Collecting all this experience has enabled her to live out her passion of building a strong foundation with children. She likes to develop strong relationships with fellow educators and children’s families.
In personal time, Savita likes to visit the mountains, planning movie nights with her family, and loves to meet new people.
Shamim Akhtar
My name is Shamim Akhtar. I was born and raised in Pakistan. I got my education from elementary to University level (M.A and B.Ed.) in Pakistan and got level three Childcare Supervisor certificate from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have also attended a number of trainings and workshops about child development and got certificates for successful completion.
I have been working as a childcare educator for the last ten years at various daycares. I love to work with children, see them grow physically, emotionally, and cognitively. In my free time, I read, listen to music, watch movies and T.V shows.
